Tavern “Ararat” is a place where Armenian culture and cuisine are combined.

The tavern “Ararat” does not change these principles. Dishes based on old recipes, using traditional spices, will pleasantly surprise and at the same time will not leave you indifferent.

Fish in Armenian cuisine

One of the favorite dishes of Armenian cuisine is fish. According to historian P. Buzand, representatives of the Arshakuni dynasty created special reservoirs for growing carmrahite and other fish species. In ancient times, Armenians cooked fish, extinguished with butter, baked, stuffed, used special condiments when cooking.
